Prom Prep!

So, one among us, namely the lovely Ariana, attended her second Prom of the season last week. This fact is somewhat ironic considering that Ari has never actually attended a public high school. But what can you say, Ari possesses those fabulous and enviable qualities of cordiality, altruism, and beauty that make her the perfect candidate for a Prom date. It's marvelously fun to get dressed up and Ari remarked herself that "you can't help but feel gorgeous when you put on a dress like this." And she did look amazing!!!


Upon returning (at an hour which could still be considered decent)Ari informed us that she had a marvelous time and enjoyed eating, chatting, and dancing the night away!

Biggest Loser

Everyone is now in bed after watching the latest episode of NBC's "The Biggest Loser"
This show has got to be one of the best on television today. Watching the challenges, struggles and trials of the contestants, rooting on the one's you hope will win,cheering with their successes and tearfully saying goodbye when a favorite is eliminated, the whole experience is great.
All of the contestants are soooo motivating to watch. Two weeks ago, my mother and I started back to focused walking and, although it's been kind of hit and miss, the walking we've done has been effective and driven and now that we've acquired a treadmill, I'm certain that we'll be kicking things into a new gear striving towards being healthier, fitter and stronger beings.

Belle's Beginning

So, this is the official beginning of the Bit of Belle's Blog. I have been talking to my dear mother about starting a blog to sort of catalog and share some of the goings-on in our daily life. This blog will be sort of a newspaper that only shows headlines,lol. Most of the posts will likely be made by myself (Bethany a.k.a. "Suena Buscador") but will cover the activities of all the Bell ladies from my mom (Judith Bell), my older sister (Ariana Bell) and my two younger sisters (Mercy and Alicia) The voices of all us will be heard.

Since this is an introductory post, I will introduce "us."

Judith Bell, my incredible mother is a full-time homeschooling mom and Studio Manager to our family Buisness "Bell Photo Art" (I encourage you to check out the BPA blog too...www.bellphotoart.com/blog. My mom daily balances the tasks of being wife, mother, and professional and though I know she finds fault with herself, I think she does an amazing job!!! She is currently working on homeschooling my three younger siblings, Mercy (11), William (7), and Alicia (6) while working along side my dad (William Bell) in running, managing and expanding our buisness. She is an amazingly positive person who is full of ideas and plans most of which she puts into action and which turn out beautifully!

Ariana Bell, my older sister (18) is extremely intelligent, disciplined, and organized (in everything except clothes:) Ari (as we call her for short) is graduating next month from HS and is currently enrolled in classes at our local community college and will be graduating with her AA degree next spring. Ari will most likely attend ASU in Jonesboro. Ari is also our in-house pshycologist ( she's majoring in pshycology and is a fountain of information). Also, Ari is an excellent cook/bake who's specialty is the fabulous Gooey Butter Bars (post abt that later :) Ari is currently employed as a nanny for the most adorable little twin baby boys. Ari expresses herself as a Belle through her love of fabulous clothing style and she always leaves the house looking amazing!

And that's all you need to know about me, hahahaha.

No, really, although I have no delusions about being anything anywhere near "normal" ( who wants to be normal anyway?) my mother say's I am genius, beautiful, talented, and incredible and since she's never lied to me, it must be true.
I myself don't say I'm anything special, but my friends... (another inside joke)
I am our resident pianist and aspire to become an orchestra condcutor/ film score composer.

Mercy, Holy COW! Ok, well since I have to introduce everyone, I will tackle this mountain. Mercy is unique in every single sense of the word. She is above average in every single way. Mercy, who is also a pianist, enjoys writing music and lyrics and will probably win a grammy or something someday. Mercy is physcially tall, slender, and has smooth, blemish-free skin. Mercy is an aspiring fashion designer and she has always had an interesting and bold fashion sense. From the time she was 3,4,5, mercy would alter her clothing in some peculiar and amusing ways. Now, although she still does alterations, they are quite a bit more recognizable as actual clothing :) Mercy is a natural born leader and dominates pretty much wherever she goes. Mercy is also very smart with an academical strong suit in mathematics. World, watch out, Mercy's coming.

And last, but never least is the best among us, Alicia, otherwise known as the "bug" and to Ariana the "presus, presus lil' lil' gurl"...(don't ask).
Alicia is gorgeous and happens to be the spitting image of ME,lol. Alicia is sweet, innocent and adorable! She is a constant source of sunshine in our home and is the resident companion of William. Alicia is learning to read and once she does will probably be as avid a reader as her two eldest sisters were in the former days. Although Alicia is precious, she can get a little attitudunal at times which shows her resemblance to me in other ways as well. :) We are all excited about what Alicia bud in to as she grows!!!
